The qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and one year QA experience, OR a high school diploma and three years’ QA experience, preferably in food or poultry; and must be HACCP Certified. Also, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, and must have exceptional organizational skills, with proven supervisory experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to ensure that the finished product standards – including grading, packaging, icing, labeling and stacking – are met and that customer specifications are adhered to. This includes but is not limited to: staffing, training and assigning QA Techs to monitor critical control points; monitoring flow of product and equipment performance through the quality process; maintaining complete and accurate records and preparing all reports as required; and promoting a “Quality Attitude” throughout the processing environment.
